First Round of Chloe Merch (almost) SOLD OUT
After wrapping up shows every weekend in April, I ~officially~ have ONE t-shirt left from my first round of merchandise (yay (▰˘◡˘▰)). Maybe you’re reading this and want to snag the last one! This design is a staple graphic from the beginning of my music career, and it heartens me to know there are people out in the world rocking it. ➡️ CLICK HERE TO BUY THE LAST-EVER ORIGINAL CHLOE CARTOON GIRL TEE! ⬅️
Fun fact: This design was reworked by a Dallas graphic artist (M.0.B House) from the cover of one of my Mom’s childhood journals.
April Show Mems
We had a busy April with gigs! I speak on behalf of me and the boys - we had a BLAST playing for y’all and visiting with familiar and fresh faces! I wanted to share noteworthy moments and photos to recap each show!
P.S. If you signed up for this newsletter at one of my recent shows, WELCOME AND THANKS FOR BEING HERE)!💙💙💙
April 6th at UTA’s Eclipse Concert
🐾 We successfully covered “Cannonball” by The Breeders for the first time
🐾 Charlie, my drummer’s dog joined us and barked from the sidelines

April 14th at Club Dada
☁️ One of my best friends from out of town finally got to see me sing with the full band
☁️ We shared the stage with a couple of musician friends that we hadn’t played with in a while

April 20th at Josey Records RSD
☔️ Kason’s car broke down right as he finished unloading, and my Dad had to help him restart it in the POURING rain before we played (sorry Kason + thanks Dad)
☔️ Willem’s amp stopped working as we were sound-checking, so we had to make some unfavorable performance setup changes (sorry Willem)

April 27th at Levitt Pavilion’s DreamFest
🌱 Willem and I got to see ourselves on the jumbotron as we played (although it was highly distracting at first)
🌱 We had the most thoughtful volunteers helping us lug our gear around and selling merch for us

Insightful Gains from My Latest Read: The Creative Act by Rick Rubin
I strongly encourage my fellow artists, musicians, and creatives to read The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin. It's a longer read that took me a few months to digest, but every second invested was invaluable. I find it impossible to summarize the keen insights this book provides for the path of one's artistry, but I'll offer a few short excerpts in the hope they ignite inspiration, no matter how small. It shifted and shaped my mindset and seems like a compass for navigating my creative journey that I will refer back to often. You won’t regret a read like this - trust me!
